Hailing from Middleberg, Florida, Adam joined Hazelwood as a member in 2007 and joined the staff as Children’s minister in November of 2008. Adam and his wife Rachel were married in February of 2006 and have one son. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Theological Studies from Boyce College at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his spare time, he enjoys film, reading, or studying Greek and Hebrew. His favorite authors include John Piper, Jonathan Edwards, and D.A. Carson. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Chris has been a member of Hazelwood since 2007 and has served as Minister of Missions since August of 2008. Chris has an undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Tennessee, and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Carol were married in June of 2006. In his spare time, Chris enjoys training horses, reading, and fly fishing. His favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, Paul Tripp, and Alan Ross. A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, D.J. came to Hazelwood as Youth Minister in July of 2005. D.J. graduated from Boyce College at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005 with a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies. He and his wife Heather were married in July of 2005 and have one daughter. D.J. works during the week as a Technical Publications Specialist for UPS Airlines. His favorite Christian authors include D.A. Carson, Alistair Begg, and John Piper. His other interests include film, writing, video games, and sports. 2008. Eric works part time as a package car driver at UPS, and is pursuing a bachelor’s
degree in computer science. His other interests include sports, and he is an avid

A native of Louisville, Kentucky and even local Iroquois High School, John is the longest tenured staff member at Hazelwood. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and a veterinary degree from The Ohio State University. John and his wife Vickie were married in 1978 and are the parents of three children. Aside from his music ministry and local veterinary practice, John’s other interests include caring for his horses, traditional American music, and collecting fountain pens. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Nathan came onboard as Hazelwood’s Senior Pastor in April of 2009. He and his wife Pam have three children. Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree from Boyce College and an Advanced Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to his arrival at Hazelwood, Nathan has served as a youth minister, pastor, and has been active in prison ministry and evangelism.
